Study Permit

Foreign nationals need a study permit to study in Canada. In most cases, you must apply for a study permit before coming to Canada. To be eligible for a study permit, an applicant must meet following requirements:

Letter of Acceptance​

The applicant must be enrolled at a designated learning institute (DLI)

Proof of Funds

The applicant must show the proof of funds to support their tuition fees and living expenses

Medical Exam

The applicant arriving in Canada must undergo medical exam and determine to be in good health

Criminal Check

The applicant must not have any criminal record and is required to obtain a police clearance certificate from their country of nationality

Purpose of Stay

The applicant must have a clear intention to arrive in Canada for studying ang must satisfy the officer that he/she would leave Canada at the end of their study.
